The True Cost

Litigation is an expensive exercise, especially for the loser, because as well as losing the case the loser will generally be ordered to pay costs to the winner. As well as the financial award that a court may make, the cost of legal representation and the implications of an unfavourable judgment, costs are a worrying concern for those bringing or defending proceedings in the Employment Relations Authority or Employment Court.
